This is the animated opening sequence to the Brazilian horror film Encarnação do Demônio (Embodiment of Evil) starring cult character Zé do Caixao (Coffin Joe). Gui directed and did the compositing/magic on the piece; he brought Alex and me in to do some 3D work. I modeled, rigged, and animated the pulsing organs. We also thought some stop-motion would add a visceral creepiness to the spot, so Gui worked the camera while I animated raw chicken livers and carne asada. Then we ate a hearty protein-laden lunch. Savory.
